The newly launched spring-reinforced metal hollow o-ring by Raido is an innovative upgraded product based on the basic type of hollow metal o-ring seal. Its core structural highlight lies in the precise installation of high-performance elastomers (springs) in the inner cavity, forming a unique "metal skeleton + elastic compensation" composite sealing structure through the elastic support of the springs.
This exquisite structural design has brought significant improvements in sealing performance: when there are minor scratches, unevenness, or other defects on the sealing surface, the spring can generate continuous and uniform compensating force by virtue of its own elasticity, pushing the metal body to closely fit the sealing surface, thereby effectively making up for various defects on the sealing surface, greatly reducing the risk of leakage, and achieving much better sealing performance than traditional hollow metal o-rings.
In terms of working condition adaptability, this product demonstrates excellent all-round performance. Through the scientific combination of different metal body materials (such as stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, etc.) and spring materials (such as special elastic alloys), the product can easily cope with extreme environments from ultra-low temperature of -196℃ to ultra-high temperature above 1000℃, maintaining stable sealing performance during high and low temperature alternating cycles. At the same time, relying on the precise regulation of spring strength, the O-ring can withstand extreme pressure conditions from ultra-high vacuum to a maximum of over 200MPa. Whether in scenarios of withstanding internal pressure or external pressure, it can maintain reliable sealing effect, providing strong guarantee for the stringent sealing needs in fields such as aerospace, nuclear energy, semiconductors, and high-end equipment manufacturing.
